My life revolves around telling people’s stories: writing them, photographing them, and filming them. I’m always on the hunt for the next story or opportunity to help a company better connect with their audience and customers. I particularly love writing about science and engineering and frequently follow researchers around the globe to cover their developments.Previously, I was communications manager for the Virginia Tech College of Engineering. Before that, I was communications manager for Virginia Tech's Office of Economic Development, wrote for multiple publications around the university, and was the cofounder and editor-in-chief of The Pylon, a local investigative and long form journalism site combined with a hub for creative work from the local community.In the past, I interned in the UK Parliament in London, England and researched Britain's history of Parliamentary reform for Dr. Charles L.
