Astro Panda Studios is a small shop software development and managed cloud services firm founded in 2018. My husband and I own & run this company, which serves clients of all sizes ranging from large-scale manufacturers to schools and nonprofits. At AP I specialize in developing custom solutions for clients whose needs can be met best with low-code implementations and process improvement, and I also help organizations select and implement off-shelf solutions where appropriate.

Working within the Tourism Department (dba Visit Shawnee) ; managing a robust email marketing strategy to an average of 15,000 subscribers and doubling opens year over year. Built and manage a complex website including custom-built destination management database to ensure most accurate information is displayed across communications. Work with local tourism and event stakeholders as well as state tourism partners to effectively market Shawnee's diverse repertoire of events and attractions. Copywriting & graphic design for all marketing materials, including the annual Visitor's Guide. Quarterly marketing analysis and development / implementation of action steps. Attending various trade-shows across the region to market Shawnee to pertinent audiences in-person.

Managing all internal & external communications including board communication. Manage social media as well as maintaining press coverage. Working extensively on resource development through grant & donor management as well as executing fundraising campaigns on behalf of the development committee. In addition, I work on building capacity for staff via implementing automation & improved processes.

Operated the office & managed a team of 6-8 hybrid employees, coordinating efforts between departments and working closely with developers to ensure proprietary software meets client needs. Also developed and maintained an employee evaluation program, carried out hiring & firing, and coordinated digital marketing efforts and CRM management.

Managed university client accounts, creating and onboarding new classes for as many as 2,000 students at a time and managing invoicing. Provided timely assistance via email-based ticketing to professors and students using the online MBA courseware.
