As an Adjunct Faculty member at Babson College, I support students as they complete internships, guiding them through a reflective learning process to maximize the impact of their experiences. The focus areas of the course include setting and achieving professional goals, identifying and confronting bias in the workplace, enhancing resumes, and helping students build a compelling professional narrative. The course also covers storytelling techniques to effectively communicate their internship journey. My goal is to help students bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world practice, ensuring they are well-prepared for the next steps in their careers.

As a Graduate Career Advisor & Relationship Manager, I coach students in all aspects of career advising including career strategy, networking, interviewing, negotiation, receiving feedback, and all advisory support for a students’ career journey. I provide career coaching via one on one appointments, small group and larger group sessions. In addition, I facilitate Case interview preparation for students that are pursuing a career in the consulting sector. I participate in Babson’s employer outreach efforts to leverage corporate partnerships, alumni advocates, faculty, and Babson’s centers to enhance the student experience and maximize student opportunities for internships and full time employment. I cultivate relationships with employers in consulting and professional services to connect them with the Babson community. My primary focus is advising MBA students, and those in the MSEL (Masters in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership) program. In addition, I share career advisory support responsibilities for other graduate student programs as needed.

As Director of Academic & Career Development at the MSCPA, I oversaw a statewide career development program to assist students in accomplishing their career goals, and to enhance relations among educators, practitioners, and the Society. My focus was developing, implementing and managing a program to sustain the CPA brand. I also assisted in the MSCPAs strategic initiative to increase diversity in the profession as it relates to students. I served as the Society's liaison to the high school and college academic community, working with various professional and student organizations.

As the Academic and Career Development Specialist for the MSCPA, my goal was to attract and inspire promising individuals to pursue a career within the accounting profession. I worked closely with high school and college students, business educators and guidance counselors; college faculty and career centers; as well as accounting professionals. I was responsible for creating and delivering presentations; organizing special events and workshops; writing and publishing newsletters and blogs as well as managing social media. I assisted in the production of our annual publication, “The College Student’s Guide to Accounting Firms in Massachusetts”, which was distributed at college career centers and accounting departments statewide. I also represented the Society at college career fairs and special events.

As a financial recruiter, I recruited qualified candidates to fill positions in the Finance and Accounting industry in the Boston area.

As a member of the operations team at IHR, I provided full-time phone/front desk coverage for the agency's incoming calls, received and directed in-person clients and visitors, coordinated out-of-state travel arrangements for all agency staff, processed purchase order requests for all staff, formatted PowerPoint presentations, and maintained updates to the central scheduling system.
