Educating patients on their OSA diagnosis, and coaching them through the CPAP titration process, as well as providing long term care for continued success with management of their OSA & relaying relevant information to referring physicians & nurse practitioners. For the past few years, my role has expanded to include an educator component, which involves the training of new clinical staff, and development of training materials, as well as handouts to provide to patients. The staff educator component of my role also includes providing education opportunities for all current staff members, including the planning and executing of an annual clinical education day and finding educational opportunities for staff to further their knowledge in the sleep medicine field.

Managing various aspects of respiratory therapy as a staff member, including ER, ICU, CVICU, CCU and patients required oxygen and acute respiratory assessments and treatments.
