Having been through undergraduate and postgraduate programs (including CNM when it was TVI), I am well acquainted with the importance of balancing schedules. This also extends back to my time working with New Mexico Legal Aid as a Legal Secretary, managing an office of five attorneys' schedule.I am also familiar with analyzing data, sifting out irrelevant information while still keeping an analysis that is deep yet still concise. I prefer to speak to people in layman’s terms, so describing policies and procedures is second nature. In addition, I have considerable experience with presenting information and public speaking engagements. I am comfortable with speaking one on one as well, and usually prefer this method to make things clearer for the person with whom I am interacting.I enjoy working independently; my successes range from minor projects of reconfiguring filing systems, to more complicated endeavors, such as initiating a medical legal-partnership in the legal field. I am also oriented toward collaboration and team efforts: during law school, a classmate and I worked together to create an outline of proposed changes to a New Mexico pueblo’s criminal code. Working with people who come from all walks of life, backgrounds, and abilities is something that I thoroughly enjoy and may be evident from the different career paths I have taken.
