Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
CurrentI manage implementation of psycho-behavioral research studies concerned with improving patient symptom management and quality of life. I support the organization’s goal to improve patient care quality and satisfaction, and population health. I coordinate across participating institutions, advise on regulatory and eligibility criteria, monitor study completion and attrition rates, manage test participants and ensure protocol compliance. I build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.My achievements include:• Successfully implementing a randomized clinical trial for a prostate cancer education tool across 8 locations, enabling improved patient decision-making around treatment options.• Coordinating trial of “Jacki” Recovery Jacket at Faulkner Hospital, testing efficacy in reducing post-operative pain in mastectomy and immediate reconstruction patients.• Providing one-to-one coaching for the Healthy Directions program, monitoring impact of health promotion interventions with lung cancer patients and resulting in 80% patient completion.• Delivering behavioral intervention for randomized controlled trial to address dyspnea and enhance relaxation for patients diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.• Designing and delivering training for new hires and students, enabling an improved on-boarding experience and better performance monitoring and feedback.
