I spoke with patients confidentially over the phone to counsel them on their medication use and chronic disease states while reconciling medications, updating allergies, stressing the importance of adherence, and answering any additional questions the patient presented. I also participated in a mentorship initiative for the Medication Management Program by mentoring incoming students throughout the first few months and serving as a go to person to answer questions regarding work as well as any additional questions.

I filled prescriptions, waited on patients, billed insurance providers, cleaned in the pharmacy, and answered the phone.

I performed various activities to make clients feel as comfortable as possible and to help those clients to have an enjoyable time while they were at the salon. Some of the daily duties I performed include greeting clients, stocking products, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, checking clients out, and cleaning.
