Role: Lead exam coordination for the upper school and analyze data to help teachers inform instruction. Cover classes and mentor teachers on online platforms and technology.Responsibilities include:∙ Assists new and returning faculty with building class pages, completing ATLAS curriculum units, using classroom technology, recording on Panopto, Edulastic, utilizing G Suite for Education, and other aspects of technology as directed by the Upper School Director.∙ Coordinates and supports all upper school exams (MAP, Midterms, Finals exams, AP Finals, PSAT PACT, etc).∙ Responsible for researching new and existing awards to recognize student, faculty and school-wide achievements. ∙ Creates and continuously updates a digital calendar via Google calendar when class times will be interrupted.∙ Assist in the application process of awards to provide support to faculty, staff, and students. ∙ Applies an advanced understanding of state laws, rules, policies and procedures in the specialized area of federal, state and county assessments in order to organize, manage and execute assessments.∙ Provides resource information relating to new techniques and practices that relate to the use of technology and that enable students to use technology as a learning tool. ∙ Delivers professional development for renewal credit and mini-sessions on single topics for the faculty.∙ Develop and deliver faculty and student training to foster full utilization of purchased online educational resources; provide proctor training as needed.∙ Advise Journalism students and promote the student newspaper. This includes training students on the use of DSLR cameras, video and audio editing software, and maintaining the Student Newspaper website.
