I am a marketing professional with a passion for company culture. I help companies, executives and professionals share their stories through authentic, innovative marketing—creating missions and messages people can connect with. My goal is simple: to grow your brand. And your business. As the Director of Marketing for Trueline, a marketing agency in Portland, Maine, I created a role that’s uniquely my own—one that combines high-impact marketing with a strategic vision for the future. Hired as Trueline’s first-ever marketing professional in 2015, I completely overhauled the company's digital presence with the aim of developing a cohesive brand, sharing content in more compelling ways and better connecting with clients. Most recently I led Trueline through a successful rebrand, shifting focus from publishing to marketing and redefining its mission and values. I also redesigned Trueline's sub-brand websites, launched new sub-brands, and recalibrated the production process from top to bottom. My systematic, solution-oriented approach to building processes has been exercised across departments at Trueline to maximize productivity. While marketing represents the lion’s share of my work today, I’ve also developed myriad internal initiatives at Trueline. I’m passionate about influencing and shaping company culture and contributing to a healthy workplace. I spearheaded Trueline’s involvement in the greater Portland community through volunteer work with the Boys & Girls Club, Preble Street and United Way. I've also made personal connections with local business leaders, opening doors to new clients and marketable events.But, building a community is just as important as building a business. Whether it’s collaborating with colleagues to create a better work environment, contributing to diversity and inclusion initiatives or advocating on behalf of team members, I strive to foster a strong, healthy and engaged culture—somewhere people truly love to work. Of my many accomplishments at Trueline, seeing the company earn a spot on Maine’s Best Places to Work list five years truly hits home—proving these efforts have a positive cumulative effect on company culture. Prior to Trueline, I worked for tech startups in San Diego, taught ESL in Korea and started my own consultancy, which I still own and operate. I am also a Junior League member. For me, marketing isn’t just about producing impactful content and strategies. It’s also about building relationships and community—being a true collaborative partner that understands what it takes to help clients grow.
