At Perkins+Will, I had two main roles, one being a Planning+Strategies Consultant. Within this role, I worked with a team to create and deliver sustainable solutions, influenced by best practices across various markets and disciplines. Our team generated both immediate and long-term value to provide our clients with a deep understanding of connections between their strategic objectives and their current and future resources (people, places, and processes).Additionally, I functioned as the firm’s Federal Practice Knowledge Manager, where I developed extensive research on various federal agencies to create alignment strategies to project and prepare the firm for future projects with the federal government.Projects included:• Project Management on the Small Area Plan for the WRAMC (Walter Reed Army Medical Center) site for the District of Columbia Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA)• 2012 National Capital Area Chapter Award Recipient for Outstanding Neighborhood or Small Area Plan• Programming and Workplace Analysis for federal agencies in implementation of GSA (General Services Agency) workplace planning goals• Project Management on the WRAMC Base Reuse Plan used for D.C. Act 19-399, "Walter Reed Army Medical Center Base Realignment and Closure Homeless Assistance Submission Approval Act of 2012"• Collaborated daily with Executive Government Officials, Real Estate Developers, Real Estate Market Analysts, Transportation Engineers, Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) and other consultants• Developed a Strategic Facility Campus Plan for George Washington University• Directed a federal strategy and business development plan to augment the firm’s position in the Federal Marketplace
