Régénération Canada is dedicated to restoring degraded land in Canada by promoting and facilitating regenerative farming methods and remediating degenerated soil. Healthy soil performs vital ecosystem functions which humans rely on for survival such as filtration of fresh water, prevention of desertification, increasing biodiversity, increasing the nutrient density in our food and storing carbon. The Living Soils Symposium Montreal was the first project of Régénération Canada which was a multi-disciplinary event bringing together more than 400 participants and 40 international speakers for a conference on regenerative agricultureActed as Event Coordinator for the Living Soils Symposium Montreal, a 3 day bilingual conference in Montreal which brought together 40 international experts to discuss the crucial role of healthy soils in sequestering atmospheric carbon, regulating climate, preventing droughts and desertification and preserving fresh water supplies. In collaboration with the French Embassy and Regeneration International, this event helped mobilize a regenerative agriculture movement in Quebec.The first of its kind in Canada, the event has made waves in the Canadian agriculture space and the International Community, with a special address at COP 23 in Bonn Germany. The movement has also influenced policy makers at Agriculture and Agri-Foods Canada and is helping to create positive changes for the environment and our food supply.

the Fondation des Étoiles is the largest source of non-governmental funding for pediatric research in Quebec. Since its first telethon, it has given over 62.5 million dollars for research into children's diseases. The Fondation des étoiles is known for their lavish events, including the annual Bal des Étoiles which took place at the Windsor Ballroom and raised over 1 million in a single evening, as well as its annual Golf Tournament in collaboration with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, which raised over $300 000.As Event Coordinator, I took care of the planning, fundraising and implementation or several of these events. I managed large committees for fundraising efforts, coordinating monthly meetings and reviewing monthly targets. I managed interns and oversaw the acquisition of auction prizes. I designed and wrote an attractive sponsorship package to solicit sponsors and donors. I created the Timeline and milestones for the event and ensured deadlines were respected. I recruited volunteers and created detailed schedules for their tasks. I organized food and beverage for the events, negotiating competitively for best prices. I managed the budget for the events, ensuring costs were under control. I coordinated logistics for the events, solving problems if they occurred. I designed the event brochures in collaboration with the marketing team, approving the visuals and messages. While I managed pre-existing events, I also successfully created and launched a new event in collaboration with the Montreal Ferrari club which was a great success!
