I was in charge of managing photo slides in the Visual Resources Center at SUNY BU. After scanning the images into the computer, I would edit them in Photoshop, list their metadata, and upload to artstor.org.Through this job, I learned management skills, organizational skills, and how art is catalogued both physically and digitally.

By posing nude as an art model, I gained a new respect for art models in general. Realizing the amount of work that is required by holding still, a deceptively simple seeming task, I also benefitted as an artist. I was able to detach myself from drawing in order to allow the models more breaks than I previously had. Therefore, this position's hours are incredibly irregular.

I would help students in different ways depending on their needs and goals. In some instances, students were physically unable to take down notes during class so I would make photocopies of my own. Other times, they simply needed a study partner. I was happy and willing to take on the challenge of helping them in whatever ways were most useful, however I refused to simply give answers.
