• Preparation of monthly financial package for internal stakeholders, including financial statements, project reports, and analysis of financial information.• Manage the corporate budget process. • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the AP and payroll team, including monitoring of workload and prioritizing duties. • Coordinate training on new and existing procedures and ensure they are updated as needed.• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices by reviewing and approving batches from 20 buildings (portfolio spread across Arizona, Carolina, and New Mexico) and other requests for disbursement in compliance with all internal controls and requirements to ensure the validity of each payment.• Audit to ensure correct GL account number coding and approvals are utilized by Accounts Payable Administrators and to oversee regular scheduled payment, credit cards reconciliations to ensure they are complete and accurate.• Manage the AP quarter end closings including preparing accruals for PO and fixed contract commitments and various expenses.• Reviewing and processing biweekly disbursement of international payroll, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes to employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.• Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.)• Analyze financial statements to drive the proactive analysis of variances.• Serve as the management liaison between the property accounting team and the property management team and other internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of accounting reports and proper communication.• Assists the year end audits, various GL reconciliations, trial balance, balance sheet, property closing acquisitions, logistics, purchasing, and inventory functions ensuring service contracts are in place with vendors, negotiating favorable terms for the organization, cost effective reductions, discounts, credits are applied as appropriate, and inventory is record accurately or written off where appropriate.
