Human Resources Director
CurrentFunction as sole HR representative supporting employees within the U.S. and overseas in Egypt, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain. Responsibilities include recruiting, administration of benefits, performance management, new hire onboarding, employee relations, CAC card submittals, HR compliance, policies and procedures.Key Results:o Provide counsel to Executive team regarding employee relation issues, compensation, and morale concerns which results in the speedy resolution of issueso Manage recruiting process; find qualified candidates within a short time frame, interview candidates, conduct reference checks, extend and negotiate offers o Administer benefits to employees, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k; negotiate with vendors for most cost effective plan to ensure best quality care for employees and most affordable cost for Companyo Coordinate with USACE to process CAC cards which results in employees’ access to U.S. Government military bases overseas o Onboard new hires within the U.S. and overseas to ensure a positive experience and high level of retentiono Conduct terminations and exit interviews in an understanding and professional manner to minimize legal ramificationso Initiate performance management process; counsel managers and employees to ensure a productive performance conversation and understanding of necessary action items for both partieso Ensure employment law compliance to avoid legal consequencesKey Projects:o Proposed new overseas health care insurance carrier; administered new plan to all overseas employees within a two week period; results included higher quality coverage for employees and a 40% savings for AICIo Create streamlined processes between Human Resources in the US and overseaso Developed a recruiting system which allows easy access to any candidate’s resume and interview noteso Improved Company’s compliance with E-verify, Vets100a reporting and Ethics training
