Leading the strategy, messaging and content development and communications implementation for clinical programs, value-based care and supplemental health (voluntary) and dental products, I tapped into a host of omni-channel tactics, including email, intranet, podcasts, journals, trade publications, and press releases. I also provided counsel and strategic executive communications for senior leaders, furthering organizational alignment around strategy and supporting change management. And, I crafted strategy and content in support of business goals, including National Nurses Week, using a turn-key communications toolkit for the provider marketing team and enterprise communicators; company intranet article garnered 49% more views and 21% more comments than the channel’s average.

By centralizing the HR communications function, I led a team that enhanced the effectiveness of all HR functional communications, including Benefits, Compensation, Diversity and Inclusion, and Learning and Development, to over 74,000 employees globally. I was responsible for the development and execution of communications for the CHRO across multiple internals and external channels, and also drove the HR integration communications strategy and execution for the Express Scripts acquisition, applying change management best practices to a 54% larger workforce post-close. I also:• Led strategic communications for an internal multi-year process and enhancement of the Human Capital Management (HCM) system and career architecture aligned to Cigna's growth strategy.• Developed and led change management of standard visual communication system for all of HR; KPIs reflected an average 6% higher unique open rate and 114% higher click-through rate than all other internal communications.• Sponsored an annual enrollment strategy applying marketing and communications best practices, resulting in a 96% increase in Health Savings Account enrollment, exceeding the stretch goal.
