Responsible for creating a classroom environment that fosters, promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship between healthy body function and exercise. Motivates each student to cultivate physical fitness, and appropriate social and emotional adjustment. Discovers and develops talents of students in physical achievement, as well as strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination, in accordance with each student’s ability. Adapts curricula for children with disabilities or different physical abilities.

• Performed duties as a Team Leader in an MTO&E Military Police Company; responsible for the health, morale, welfare, training and discipline of soldiers; served as a General Population and Special Housing Unit Control Shift Leader at the United States Disciplinary Barracks, the only maximum security prison in the Department of Defense; responsible for the operation, maintenance, sanitation, physical security and administration of approximately 144 inmates.• Implemented rigorous physical training sessions resulting in soldiers being removed off of the overweight program. Dedicated to fitness; motivated over 30 soldiers to exceed the Army standards. Developed exercise and nutrition programs for overweight soldiers. Served as the go-to NCO for nutrition, health advice and aid. Gave multiple lessons of instruction in those areas.• Performed duties as a Squad Leader for a Military Police Company deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; responsible for training, care and development of a squad; maintained accountability and serviceability of the squads assigned sensitive items; served as a Shift Leader in a secure section of a strategic detention facility managed by the Joint Forces Special Operations Component Command-Iraq; and was responsible for the care, custody and control of the Programs Assets.
