Hello! I'm Erica, a Political Science major with a minor in Sociology at Kentucky State University. Passionate about public affairs, policy work, and community development, I am excited to embark on a future in law, exploring the diverse dimensions of the legal field.Currently, I am the HIV and Health Equity Intern at the Human Rights Campaign. At my university, I serve as the 95th Miss Kentucky State University.I also hold the position of President at Spectrum, the LGBTQ+ organization at Kentucky State University. Over the past year, I have also engaged with the Human Rights Campaign through their HBCU Leadership Program and the PrEP Peer Educator Program. Additionally, I work as a tour guide in the Admissions Office at Kentucky State, constantly meeting new friendly faces. These experiences have significantly shaped my worldview as a young adult.During my free time, I immerse myself in reading and researching societal needs, driving me to advocate for others in various community spaces, including volunteer events and public forums. I also thrive in public speaking opportunities, as I eagerly share my knowledge and insights with my peers and community members.
