The MSU VOICE Center provides 100% free and confidential services to those impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. Train over 1,000 student and community members on best practices in sexual assault prevention and risk reduction. Meet with clients and provide advocacy on the institutional level through Title IX investigations. Work with UPD to implement protective instruments following an incident. Manage over 60 student advocates and 200 student volunteers for 30+ events on campus and in the Bozeman community.

Assist President Cruzado in delegated tasks. Communicate President’s schedule to University Vice Presidents; manage office budget; manage scheduling for the President’s Conference Room; screen all calls coming into the office; communicating with concerned parents, community members, students; implemented a new filing system within my first week on the job, manage presidential gifts (incoming and outgoing), work with outside agenices to organize presidential donations, plan special events, work with presidential residence director to ensure quality work and adequate home care.

Hired by executive branch; lead financial advisor for ASMSU. Sit on administrative board of ASMSU as a member of the executive team. Created and implemented financial confirmation/notification process that allows for more fiscal accountability throughout entire organization. Responsible for advising all program directors on their budgets during the fiscal year; monthly reconciliations; aiding the Operations Manager in day-to-day financial operations; weekly deposits; acting as an informative member of the ASMSU Senate by providing all pertinent financial details related to discussion items; acting as lead liaison between the ASMSU Finance Board and ASMSU Senate; creating, organizing, distributing, and clearly communicating the upcoming fiscal year’s budget to all members of ASMSU. Initiated and executed full organizational restructure.

Created systematic charting to convey structure of reporting relationships of 10-division office; on behalf of Associated Students of Montana State University, worked with Budget and Fiscal Director to establish financial and working relationships to develop consistency in multiple budgeting processes across the university; prepared financial reports to be utilized by the Office of the Commissioner for Higher Education. Banner trained; familiar with SAIS finance and HR reports. Responsible for financial expenditure and payroll corrections.

Appointed by the Senate; lead figurehead for ASMSU. Chair Finance Board that makes recommendations to Senate who then votes on allocation of $1.8 million to 14 different programs. Chair Funding Board that allocates $90,000 to over 200 registered student organizations. Act as liaison to university administration and state regents on behalf of ASMSU. Sit on administrative board of ASMSU. Completely rewriting ASMSU bylaws in conjunction with Senate President for the first time in 60 years of the organization’s 104 year history. Gaining extensive real-world knowledge of meeting conduct, professional communications, delegation skills, formal proposal requests, legislative writing, budgeting, etc.
