As part of a space, “the studios offer a vibrant environment where artists can develop their visual arts practice, contribute towards the creative community, engage with a programme of development activities and participate in an annual Open Studios event where the public are welcomed into the studios.”A lifelong practice of drawing in daily life is the root of my art-making, which has grown to encompass a wider experience of the world in color and paint.Whether domestically or traveling abroad, I continue my drawing practice in everyday life, sketching in pen & ink and watercolor. I paint in oil in my studio and as part of local portrait and figure painting groups.I've previously designed and sold my signature collection of humorous illustrated prints, designed logos, created custom cartoon digital portraits, illustrations for print and online advertisement, and hand-painted signage.A dedicated participant of my local art community, I've been a member of professional associations and a volunteer with civic arts organizations and non-profits. I've also instructed art classes and workshops, been a published writer on the arts, and have designed and assisted in the creation of public mosaic art projects.I studied Fine Art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and The Art Institute of Boston and hold a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Art from Lesley University, Boston, MA.
