Eric Anderson is a graduate of Georgia Tech and practiced architecture in Atlanta starting with his own firm, Anderson & Associates Architects, in 1979. As an owner and principal of Taylor Anderson Architects and Director of Architecture for two other national AE firms, Eric was responsible for managing financial performance, client relationships, professional staff, and overall firm administration. During his career Eric's practice focused on higher education science and research facilities, student housing, student learning facilities, and other student life projects. Eric retired from large-firm architectural practice in 2014 to begin a second career in practice management consulting. In early 2015 Eric began a consulting engagement with Smartegies, LLC and served as COO and CFO for Smartegies from 2015 through March of 218.In December 2019 Eric joined Jones Pierce Architects to lead the Small Projects Studio. His focus is on the design and construction of residential renovations and additions. In this role, he works directly with the firm's clients and design team to meet the goals of the owner; their vision, their style, their budget, and their time frame. Eric's years of experience working closely with people and Jones Pierce's award-winning residential design combine to deliver a smooth step-by-step process and a superb completed project.
