About Erica Nelson-Flowers

A veteran of the sports industry, my career journey has provided me the rare distinction of having worked on the grassroots (Women’s Sports Foundation), collegiate (South Carolina and Arkansas), Olympic (NYC2012) and professional levels of sports (NBA and USTA). This includes working with athletes, coaches, sports administrators and executives and community members from cities, both big and small. Above all else, the most important skill I have gained during my nearly 25 years working in sports is the ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships. In 2023 I was named to the list, “Top 50 Women Leaders in Austin” by the organization, “Women We Admire”, was inducted into the Slippery Rock University (SRU) Sport Management program’s “Hall of Fame” and that same year I was also one of the Commencement Speakers at SRU. Lastly, in 2023 I also joined the National Board of Directors for the SRU Foundation.

Listed skills include Sponsorship Sales, Social Media, Sports, Event Planning, and 15 others.
