In my role as Practice Manager, I am in charge of all day-to-day operations, including tracking deadlines, working across all active projects and managing all necessary aspects of the same, and managing my team, including managing up, to ensure that projects are seen through to completion as efficiently and effectively as possible. As an operations professional, I consistently look for ways to improve workflow and manage more effectively, especially considering all of the many projects I am responsible for at once cover a wide range of areas relevant to the practice. I have also taken on responsibility for firm marketing, resourcing, and I manage the firm's relationships with all vendors and clients.

As paralegal and legal assistant, I fill any gaps needed in the office. I serve primarily in an operations role to complete tasks such as drafting correspondence, reviewing vital documents, maintaining our docket, managing all ongoing projects and deadlines, and leading our weekly team meetings. Taught and enforced programmatic standards via daily direct management to a team of 10 service volunteers while also managing the data and records for their 450+ students. Built and maintained positive working relationships with teachers, school staff and administration. Leadership and Development Coordinator, Future Educators Task Force member (tasked with creating an environment of success for the entire City Year network), and also the Advanced Logistics Manager in the Service Reserve (collaboratively managed a team to ensure proper logistics for our largest service day). Nominated for the Eli J. Segal Bridge Builder Award for Jacksonville, and was a Top 8 National Finalist for the honor.

Completed 1700 service hours while mentoring 23 students with failing course performance, poor attendance, and/or disruptive behavior. Primarily provided ELA tutoring to at-risk course performance students. All efforts are to increase retention rates by focusing on improvement in areas that are linked to the current drop-out crisis.

For my final year at The College of Wooster I served the Residence Life branch of our Campus Life department as a Resident Director for Stevenson Hall. I served as a leader and liaison for Stevenson Hall in order to assist my residents in achieving the best living experience possible. I am highly trained in conflict management and mediation, as well as trained as an intermediary for the campus administration and the student body.

I was a Resident Assistant (RA) in Bornhuetter Dorm at the College of Wooster where I lived among and assisted freshmen girls with any problems/complications that they might have. I was trained in conflict management and was a direct resource to over 20 women.

I was Professor Mark Weaver’s teaching assistant for his FYS – From Hot Coffee to Murder: The American Justice System. I was responsible for helping to choose materials for the class, as well as leading class discussion and fostering a good example for my students. I had regular office hours every week and helped the students in any way possible.

As a sales associate I was trained not only how to organize and upkeep a store, but also how to interact with customers and how to help reach our sales goals. I was hired on May 25, 2013 and I helped open the brand new store, including building/installing all of the walls and displays, carrying, unpacking, organizing and installing thousands of pieces of merchandise, and learning first-hand most aspects of how to open a store.

I worked as a canvasser on behalf of the Planned Parenthood campaign through Grassroots 40+ hours a week. Gained experience canvassing, fundraising, managing a team, leading on the field, processing contributions, and communicating. Over my six weeks I fundraised and processed over $5,000 in contributions.

I worked as a sophomore research assistant to a visiting Political Theory professor and helped her research and organize an article she is publishing on John Locke.
