Erica Withey is a Program Specialist, Data Standards at Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). She possess expertise in research, teamwork, time management, social media, project planning and 29 more skills. She is proficient in French and Swahili. Colleagues describe her as "Erica has been volunteering with Morobe Development Foundation Inc since the beginning of August 2018. She has been recruited through the United Nations Online Volunteering platform https://onlinevolunteering.org and was engaged to write and edit proposals on Gender Related issues in Papua New Guinea.
We successfully completed a proposal which was submitted to the Australian Embassy this month. The proposal is specifically for the growing of cocoa by women in Kobo Village, Huon District, Morobe Province.
The idea is specifically to ensure women in the village own plots of cocoa plantation to sustain their livelihood and in the to improve their standard of living. This women empowerment project is one of the many project ideas the Foundation has developed together with many volunteers and we are very fortunate to have Erica in this collaboration.
Erica is very talented, open and always completes the designed task within a given time time with working under limited supervision. She is an expert and has wide knowledge and experience in Gender Issues, Community Relations and Community Development. Her commitment and desire to help others is exemplary.
She has offered to continue volunteering for the Foundation providing advice and technical expertise in proposal writing and editing. She has just reviewed one of our proposal on water supply which will be submitted to the Go-Go Foundation today (5/10/2018).
With that and on behalf of the Foundation, we would like to highly recommend her to any potential Organisation within the United Nations Countries to fully utilize her skills and potential to produce the desired result.
We know that she will do well because of her contribution to Humanity and wish her well in the many years to come.
