In this internship I was responsible for preparing the live room for recording sessions, including setting up microphones, checking wiring, arranging baffles and room to suit artist setup. I worked with AMEK Angela 7, outboard gear and patch bay to assist engineers in session. I also helped to interface with client services, making sure that the facilities were kept clean and in order, making sure that all client needs were met, and was also given a few sound related responsibilities. Some of these projects included running source connect for remote ADR, editing dialogue for a U.S Census radio commercial, as well as editing dialogue for a mini-series about the band “30 Seconds To Mars.” The main focuses were efficiency, customer service, and learning to work in a professional environment.
