This passion has pushed me every day to work to get better at what I do, lead my teams to success, and been the chief factor for my consistent upward movement within my organization. I have over 20 years of leadership experience in managing different teams in different capacities. Additionally, I have a love of numbers and analytics. This is a love I learned later in life and it pushed me to earn my finance degree and earn the position of Purchasing Manager overseeing purchasing for 3 concepts with special expertise in protein and commodity markets. I am an expert with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. I am extremely versed with MS VBA and have written numerous Excel programs for every department in my organization. I have proven myself as an analyst and in forecasting. Using these tools, my department has been able to keep our company costs down while not sacrificing quality. My current role allows me to merge both my love for numbers and for developing others. As the Director of Quality Assurance and Purchasing, I create tools to help train and coach staff throughout our company, and work with the staff to meet our expectations for success. I have created metrics that allow us to measure our success and show us where to focus our attention in order to continue to grow. I also continue to oversee the purchasing for the company, while analyzing ever-changing cost and market trends.
