Based on 22 years of work in the IT and Leisure industry, I can only say that I have learned a lot. Working in Customer Support provided me with the practical work with computer system, servers and software. On-site installations provided me with the needed communicative skills which I have carried with me throughout my work career. Naturally being bilingual has opened more doors for me as well. In the aspect of international Sales, I have learned more communicative skills specialize in one on one contact. I have also learned what "compromise" really means, as well as that each contact is a relationship in the long-term.To be successful in this branch you have to all be open to learn new things, if it is Customer Service, which requires you to put yourself in the position of the person on the other end of the phone. Sales, where you must truly think on the wants and needs of the customers, too also learn the balance of profit and fairness.
