Working for the Canadian Centre for Housing Technology under the Construction portfolio• Prepares and maintains testing facilities for energy and thermal performance analysis of prototype or commercial ready housing equipment’s and products• Develops and fabricates mechatronics systems to simulate realistic occupancy based on research and guidelines• Designs and set up sensors and meters with data acquisition systems for a diverse range of research• Analysis data to present in research and to troubleshoot multifactor equipment set up

As a summer placement, I worked on a net zero energy and water tiny house project, the Northern Nomad. The project explores new and innovative technologies that can be integrated into a small footprint sustainable building. The sustainable features include: solar integrated design, vacuum insulated panels, condensation water collection system, home automation, and on/off grid solar and storage electrical setup. I was in charge of automation component of the house to aid with energy and water conservation and monitoring.

•Liaise between the school and the students to ensure the school makes decisions that reflect the students and the students are informed on the decision the school makes•Represents the students in SREE-B in meetings with the different levels of the school to discuss and votes on motions that affect the engineering body at Carleton University

•Organizes social events and promoting them to create a greater sense to community within the program•Contacts professionals and organizations to sponsor events and to come in for presentations•Maintening communication between SREE Soc and CSES
