Profile bio

About Eric B. Simmons, Lcsw

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in both New York and Oregon State. My experience includes the provision of clinically-informed case management services and therapy to a variety of clients in criminal justice and outpatient mental health settings. Therapeutically, I am oriented toward psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral therapy, relational, and cognitive behavioral approaches. Good social work means working well with a team, and so I have plenty of experience working as part interdisciplinary teams that include other service providers and client family members. My work also often includes the use of clinical interviews and assessments in order to provide the best quality of care that I can and make appropriate referrals when necessary.

Listed skills include Research, Career Counseling, Public Speaking, Editing, and 9 others.
