Center For Healthy Weight And Nutrition / Primary Care Obesity Network (Pcon)

Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team (Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses and MA's and other dietitians) to treat overweight and obesity in children. I provide nutrition counseling to 5 different Pediatric Primary Care offices in the community twice a month to promoting healthy lifestyle changes. Teaching a weight management class twice a week allows me to educate families on the importance of making healthy lifestyle changes to promote a lifetime of health and wellness.

South High Primary Care

Worked as an outpatient Clinical Dietitian providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for various medical conditions including diabetes, obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and heart disease. In October 2012, I obtained my Certification of Training in Adult Weight Management to enhance my knowledge to better assist patient's with weight management. I provide one-on-one counseling as well as monthly Diabetes Management meetings for patients of all ages. As a Certified Lactation Specialist (CLS) I address infant feeding concerns and assist pregnant and lactating women with breastfeeding concerns. collaborated with a multidisciplinary team (Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists and Social Work) to provide the best outcomes for our diverse pediatric and adult population.
