College Access Coordinator
Current-Develop and lead a school-based model for College and Career Centers (CACCs). The CACCs provide direct student and family support on the college and career process including college applications, FAFSA applications, scholarship applications, resume development, work readiness skills, youth apprenticeships and support of Academic and Career Planning-Serve as project manager, collaborating across the district, for the successful opening of 21 school-based College and Career Centers in August of 2017-Supervise 15 College and Career Advisors, a Secretary and Data Assistant-Develop and manage fiscal responsibility for a $1.5 million budget, including multiple grants exceeding $500,000-Facilitate the development of a comprehensive data collection and assessment process to measure the success of the school-based College and Career Centers-Provide leadership for district-wide initiatives related to college and career readiness, including FAFSA completion and partnerships with local higher education institutions and community partners-Serve as an active and engaged leader in the Milwaukee Succeeds Goal 3 and M-Cubed Goal 1 project groups on Summer Melt and other postsecondary completion projects in Milwaukee
