Partnering with M&A for Leslie's, successfully accomplished the acquisition of Pool City (a competing company to Valley Pool & Spa within the Pittsburgh region) in early 2022. My role encompasses the leadership of both Valley Pool & Spa and Pool City. Similar to my previously held position, my main focus is on financial strategy and management, driving responsible SG&A and EBITDA control, leading marketing and merchandising initiatives, and overall operations management. I am a key executive member of the specialty hot tub division of brands for Leslie's, which encompasses 8 other consumer brands throughout the country.

Immediate focus on moving Valley Pool & Spa from private to corporate ownership, I led our team members through a successful 1 year transition plan. Under Leslie's ownership and partnership, our team and I led strong EBITDA growth YOY through continued strategic initiatives and marketing strategies, with a strong focus on SG&A management. In Oct 2020, Leslie's launched as public company (LESL) and I led our team through additional associated transition projects.

Launching in Spring of 2019 with a proprietary hot tub brand and concept, I consulted a team of individuals and worked direct with our vendor partners to launch the new hot tub strategy for Leslie's.

As Vice President of Valley Pool & Spa, I directly managed all company operations, sales budgets, and led the final product assortment and marketing decisions. Under my leadership, company ownership was able to go semi-absentee, and during this tenure, we reached heights of being the leader for pool & spa supplies in the Pittsburgh market through effective financial planning, culture-first team-building, and strategic thinking. Under my direction, Valley Pool & Spa was named as one of Pittsburgh's Top 100 Fastest Growing companies in 2008, 2016, and 2017 for 50%+ year-over-year growth; and also one of Pittsburgh's Top 100 Employers in 2012, 2016, and 2017 as voted by the Pittsburgh Business Times via team interviews. In 2013 we were awarded the coveted "Best Pool/Spa Retailer in the Nation" by the United Aqua Group. I have effectively led the opening of additional store locations and facilitated significant team and annual revenue growth. Through my strategic initiatives, we successfully developed an ecommerce division of the company, and grew from a 15,000 sq ft distribution center, to over 70,000 sq ft in under 3 years. Through this constant growth, even through the 08-09 recession, Valley's success has not gone unnoticed and was acquired by the world's largest Pool & Spa Retailer, Leslie's.

Snyder's of Berlin (a Conagra company) Potato Chips and Snacks territory management and route sales, along with merchandising execution in Grocery Stores and C-Stores. Worked directly with store managers and owners to execute displays of our snack products, and negotiate new sales contracts for growth and expansion within the territory. During my first full year at Snyder, I earned Sales Territory of the month 3 times, due to 70%+ route sales growth through new accounts and same-store sales increases. Same-store sales growth came from quickly building great professional relationships, which led to a significant expansion in store shelf space and endcap displays in my key grocery accounts.

Through a traditional B2B sales model, I independently managed 38 grocery, c-store, and restaurant accounts within an assigned territory. I led and worked with team Merchandisers to properly represent and display all Coca-Cola products and related brands. Through the role, I grew professional relationships and worked directly with business managers and owners to grow sales and earn additional shelf space and/or market share within my territory. Through extensive merchandising education provided by my previous role, it allowed myself and team to be awarded a Superbowl sales achievement and a themed product display award because of store partnerships and same-store sales growth during key marketing periods.

Earning the role as Dept Manager via internal promotion, I managed the Pittsburgh region's top performing electronics department and it's employees. As Electronics Dept Manager, I successfully rolled out major company initiatives such as the new focus on the big-screen TV, home theatre, and DVD era, as well as the launch of new Sony and Microsoft gaming platforms. Through enhanced focus on inventory management, my team and I were able to achieve the lowest shrink Electronics Dept in the region in my final year. As a nominated Walmart Academy student, I was also on track to become one of the youngest ASM's in the region at that time.
