Direct management of a global team of professionals to ensure supply of product from external suppliers. Team members located in 4 countries across US and Europe. Products include API, formulated bulk and finished packs. External supplier management encompasses planning, delivery, project management, performance and quality management, and value delivery. Accountable for the delivery of all team and supply performance metrics including supplier delivery performance, inventory, budget, quality performance, and performance management. The supplier base consists of 11 global suppliers providing 12 products to 103 global markets. Products categories include sterile powders, sterile emulsions, sterile lyophilized, and functionally coated tablets. Suppliers located in Europe, Japan, and US. Total spend managed across these suppliers is 347 M USD with an inventory of 86 MUSD. On time delivery of products to customers exceeding 99.9 % with 6 stock outs over a 3 year period. Year on year cost savings of 5-10 % achieved. A total 2 new products have been introduced through this team across 30 global markets with all launch requirements met.

Expanded operations targeting aseptic packaging of sterile antibiotic powder, allowing for annual deployment of 12M vials to global markets. Designed and implemented complete organizational structure to ensure consistent transition from start-up to continuous operation. Led preparation of modules for both the New Drug Application [NDA] and Marketing Authorization Application [MAA].Delivered operational facility six months ahead of schedule in order to accommodate failure of interim contract supplier.Successfully prepared facility for FDA and MHRA pre-approval inspection, with no critical observations reported in either inspection.

Led activities to prepare the Sterile Processing facility for the aseptic filling and packaging of a sterile antibiotic powder. This included the validation of process equipment used in the sterilization and depyrogenation of components, the powder filing process, and secondary packaging. Designed and implemented the environmental monitoring program, including establishment of limits for viable organisms and non-viable particulates. Designed and executed the process simulation trials [PST] for the validation of the aseptic process, including the development of a novel fluid media delivery system. Designed and executed the validation program for building utility systems including HVAC, and Water-For-Injection.
