Together with Bernardo Gardingo, I founded a studio that specialized in the interface between architecture and crafts. Worked in renovations, from residences to offices, focusing of low budget projects. Designed houses and spaces and also, as a metalworking workshop, built furniture of our own and for fellow architects, artistic installations and as well arranged workshops for the teaching of the craft to others, both in private occasions and in partnership with the university.

Research and development of data and maps for the analysis of the impacts of the Vila Viva housing program of the URBEL, in the favela Aglomerado da Serra, in Belo Horizonte. Specifically the impacts in quotidian life of the community population, the relocated dwellers and the evicted families that moved to the periphery of the city. The research resulted in a cartography of poverty expulsion, in a process of gentrification disguised as social housing program.

Worked in the design and execution of renovations in residences and in the development of custom furniture for these projects, presenting the ideas to clients and managing the production with professional artisans and contractors.

Worked as researcher on the evictions processes happening in the favela of Belo Horizonte City, enforced by the URBEL in the Vila das Antenas and the Aglomerado da Serra. Applied interviews and field studies in the areas and developed pedagogical flyers about the rights of the affected population (with the UNESCO parameters) and theories about the compensation needed in such cases.

Worked on the research about the dwelling conditions in the federal housing program Minha Casa Minha Vida buildings. Investigating the insertion of the dwellings in the urban context, its impacts on the area and in the overall quality of life of its inhabitants. The work involved the application of interviews with dwellers and building companies, field studies, generation of georeferenced data and the critical analysis and presentation of the results.

Worked in contact with senior architects in the creating of technical drawings and 3d representation for large scale industrial and commercial projects and also helped the team develop town plans for neighborhoods in Giv’aot Bar in southern Israel.
