It Manager - Talent

Current

Madison, Wisconsin, Us

As a Talent Manager at TruStage, my primary focus is on my team's short- and long-term career goals and not just their day-to-day activities in their individual agile teams. By splitting the team management needs between myself and the IT Product Owner (Delivery Manager) I'm partnered with, we each have the ability to make the most of our relationship with the team members and our business partners by ensuring that both the health of the system and platforms is being managed (Delivery Manager) and that we're supporting that with the right team members with the right skills (Talent Manager). At present, this role finds me with 21 direct reports consisting of Developers and Technical Analysts across four different teams within the IT Lending > Acquisitions space.Beyond my core people management responsibilities, I also enjoy taking on additional workload focusing on process improvements within our organization. Most recently, I volunteered to own a project focusing on team Staffing Plans. What began as a simple list of which staff members were in which team expanded to include multiple methods to directly compare an area between two points in time, a way to view individual team structure changes over time, and a way to inspect the role levels throughout our area to ensure that we have well-structured teams.
