Application development and systems engineering for a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm:- Produces applications that complement field data collection activities, using Fulcrum (fulcrumapp.com).- As lead developer, oversees all client and server-side web application development, including map-centric applications that use Mapbox, CARTO, Google Maps, and other services.- Develops JavaScript programming for rich client side web applications, using a variety of Open Source libraries including AngularJS, Grunt, Gulp, Bower, and Browserify.- Uses Node.js to deliver fast, feature-rich server-side applications. Relevant libraries include Express, Sequelize, AWS SDK, and Passport.- Responsible for efficient deployment of applications to AWS. Services leveraged include ECS, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, Lambda, RDS, Route53, and IoT.- Responsible for general database administration including PostgreSQL/PostGIS and DynamoDB.- Participates in other phases of product development, including requirement gathering, project planning, research, and development.- Designed and produced IoT concept prototypes using Arduino (C++), Raspberry Pi, and AWS IoT.

Performed a variety of tasks in production of digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps and documentation of engineering analysis for various FEMA contracts. Research and work performed is Geographic Information System (GIS) intensive, using ESRI products. Contributed to research and development of Flood Map Desktop software package.

Used GIS software and geocoding to analyze current and prospective commercial real estate as well as employee addresses for eligibility for various tax incentive program eligibility.

Earned credit for college internship and continued as part-time employee. Assisting the Department of Public Works to build a comprehensive GIS database to support its infrastructure. Compiled and digitized various data related to Baltimore County's sanitary sewer system.
