Award Winning Producer, Editor In Chief, Sound Designer
CurrentIn 2017, I embarked on a creative journey, independently bringing to life the scripted erotic podcast, Black Widow. This endeavor showcased my versatility as a producer, writer, director, and audio engineer, leading to extraordinary success and recognition.Creation Process:Beginning with a vision, I meticulously outlined the pilot episode in Google Documents, later translating it into a captivating script using Final Draft. Simultaneously, I collaborated with a graphic designer to craft imagery that encapsulated the tone of the episode, ensuring a visual narrative that complemented the audio experience.Episodic Planning:With the pilot in progress, I outlined the remaining nine episodes, carefully crafting a cohesive and engaging 10-episode season. This comprehensive planning laid the foundation for a narrative arc that captivated audiences throughout.Casting and Production:Taking a hands-on approach, I conducted local auditions to discover actors who could breathe life into the characters and elevate the storytelling. Once the ensemble was set, I delved into recording within Pro Tools, capturing performances that resonated with the essence of the narrative.Post-Production Expertise:In the post-production phase, I employed RX Advance to meticulously repair vocals, ensuring clarity and quality. Sound effects became the building blocks for immersive soundscapes, creating an auditory experience that went beyond storytelling.Outstanding Achievements:The inaugural season of Black Widow Podcast exceeded expectations, amassing over a million downloads within six months and earning the distinction of the best podcast in Indiana by The Indianapolis Star. Continual Innovation:With an unyielding commitment to excellence, I pushed boundaries by incorporating Dolby Atmos technology into the mixing process. This innovation transformed the podcast into a more immersive experience, resulting in over 3 million streams across various platforms.
