I am a multi-disciplined executive with a proven track record building and motivating teams to tackle seemingly intractable business and public policy problems. I am currently senior vice president at ICF, a global advisory and technology services provider. Vice President, International DevelopmentIcf Mar 2014 - Dec 2017Reston, Virginia, UsAs the USAID account executive, I oversaw rigorous analysis of global development trends and meet frequently with clients and partners to figure out how to best provide integrated solutions to complex development issues. This included liaising with customers, developing and refining service offerings, and contributing to overall corporate strategic planning processes.I served on the Executive Advisory Board and chaired the Procurement Reform Task force of the Council of International Development Companies, the premier platform for dialogue between the federal government and U.S. development companies. I was also the ICF representative for the Society for International Development/Washington (SID/W), Devex, and the United States Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC).As a member of ICF’s federal accounts team, I led efforts to increase ICF’s international development business, including supporting USAID and other U.S. federal agencies, such as the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA). From 2012-2017, ICF’s revenues from USAID increased over 75% (from $40 million to more than $70 million). I also helped win a new prime contract vehicles at the MCC (for environmental, social, and resettlement services), and our first-ever prime contract with the TDA (for energy advisory services).I assisted in moving ICF’s in-house proposal training to an on-line platform to facilitate remote participation and retention for dispersed audiences. As a result of my efforts, I have helped ICF secure tens of millions of dollars in new funding from new federal and commercial clients, including new contracts with USAID, HHS, EPA, DOE and investor-owned utilities. -
Director Of Program DevelopmentEurasia Foundation May 2007 - Oct 2008Washington, District Of Columbia, UsI was responsible for managing the Foundation’s development efforts, including maintaining donor relations, exploring new funding prospects, developing new programs, and overseeing proposal preparation. Under my leadership, the foundation and its network more than doubled its previous non-US government fundraising, to $14 million/year. I developed new fundraising tools, including internet campaigns, a new field-of-interest fund, and donor services contracts. I was also the secretary of the Eurasia Foundation Network, a coalition of foundations supporting economic and civic prosperity in the former Soviet Union. -
