I worked actively with the management team to strategize Blue Technology target goals and sales for the fiscal year. For new interns, I hosted an onboarding presentation via MS Teams to help welcome them to the internship. I conducted weekly check in meetings with my team to provide updates, receive feedback, and answer any questions concerning their tasks.

On a typical day I would thoroughly inspect hundreds of chemicals to ensure quality. I quickly and accurately entered chemical data into Filemaker. I was able to locate previously misplaced samples, saving the company from having to reorder lost chemicals.

As a remote intern my primary focus was to analyze and interpret environmental data. Using data sets collected from past research, I was able to assess the rate of recolonization on artificial reefs as well as the presence of Blue Carbon in Posidonia oceanica. I compared sampling methods for microplastic quantification and abundance in the Aegan Sea. I also reviewed current literature to identify gaps in Microplastic research in the Mediterranean.
