As Marketing Communications Specialist, I have written stories for over 1,000 new & existing products—stories that have been used both internally and in customer-facing communications. I have edited and designed major print advertising campaigns that have gone out to millions of customers. I have also written the copy for 600+ Instagram posts. Additionally, I have created the label copy for retail products.I launched @traderjoes Instagram in 2017 and have been one of the main contributors toward our mostly-organic growth up to 2.5 million followers. As the Instagram post copywriter, I have been an integral part of moderating the unique Trader Joe's voice for this digital platform. I have also been part of the photography team, contributing featured photos to the @traderjoes feed from time to time.Additionally, I have produced several video commercials and advertising shorts using live action and a variety of stop-motion techniques. For several of these projects, I co-wrote, produced and recorded original music.In this role, I also design graphics for web and print, including cartoons and illustrations that have been used in national ad campaigns.[Media samples available upon request.]

Clayfiredcurator.org [no longer live] existed as an inspirational and instructional blog for worship curators (liturgical artists). We created this blog to generate excitement about an in-development web-based creative tool called Clayfire. In addition to generating original content for the daily blog, I was also responsible for securing prominent guest bloggers in the worship curation niche. I also scheduled and executed an editorial calendar for the blog and for corresponding Facebook and Twitter accounts.For Clayfire (the web-tool) I was commissioned—along with several others—to create artistic content that would eventually be made available as parts of collections to subscribers. I produced short live-action videos and composed and recorded the original soundtracks. I wrote prayers. I designed multi-sensory experiences for worshipers.

Creativeworshiptour.org [no longer live] was the forerunner to clayfirecurator.org (see above). I was one of several bloggers who contributed regularly to the site. I was also responsible to track and moderate comments from readers.

I led a team that created and conducted various trainings internationally (conferences, seminars, workshops) for those involved in church arts and worship. I also mentored individuals and coached churches and denominations toward developing their worship philosophy and teams.My influence reached church creatives nearby (California, Oregon, Virginia), and also extended to leaders in Central Europe, including northern Serbia and numerous cities throughout Hungary.

I supervised and co-created the content of the weekend worship services. I managed the volunteer teams who put the services on. I also recruited new volunteers to the Creative Arts at NewSong.
