ZetrOZ developed and commercialized the first FDA cleared, wearable, multi-hour therapeutic ultrasound device. Leveraging proprietary miniaturization and safety features, the SAM® Sport product effectively treats a variety of patients including osteoarthritis suffers, “weekend warriors”, and professional athletes.In the role of Director of Engineering, Eric maintained responsibility for ongoing product/process improvements during the initial market introduction, developing a pipeline of new products that built on ZetrOZ's proprietary ultrasonics technology, successfully executing multiple federal grants, and generating a robust intellectual property portfolio. Eric reported directly to the CEO.

DRG was an angel and venture backed startup medical device company that developed and commercialized the first polyurethane based bone repair material (Kryptonite™ Bone Cement) for use in cranial defect repair. Pipeline applications of the novel technology included enhanced sternotomy repair and general orthopaedic use. Eric joined as the 5th employee in 2008. In 2013 the company was acquired by Abryx.
