Implemented a working prototype of the user interface Members Portal segment of website for this major Health Plan provider. Some of the design requirements were: 1) Server-less deployment for ease of installation and wide compatibility. 2) Highly realistic emulation of a genuine web application session3) Integration with legacy areas.The framework had to be nimble enough to support rapid updates of global aspects as well as additions of specific interface features. The framework features a navigation engine which maintains a model of a multi-level site hierarchy, tracking and indicating its state relevant to the user session (e.g. live "breadcrumb" indicators), while intelligently managing and adapting to its given environment of content and structure. The content engine followed the pattern of content inclusion schemes common to server technologies. With and eye towards ease of management, content types were handled with automatic context sensitivity.
