In 1991 Eric began his career in client services, publishing and software sales & marketing. In 1997, he joined Flycast Communications - the first direct response online advertising network. As a founding member, Eric played key roles in the development of Flycast's innovative approach to web marketing. He helped design the first-ever media optimization platform as well as contributed to the development of the original audience profiling & targeting platform.While at Flycast, Eric created the first of its kind “interactive media consulting" organization. This talented group successfully managed hundreds of advertisers in North America, Europe and Asia with over $100M in annual media budgets. Flycast went public in 1999 and was then acquired by CMGI in 2000 for $2.3B. In 2003 Eric started Optio Interactive, a successful digital marketing services and solutions firm. Optio provides b2b and b2c performance driven demand generation and customer acquisitions programs and services with clients ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Achievements:⠗ 1999: Flycast's global team of digital media specialists ranked #1 among online media industry professionals. ⠗ 2004: Architect and developed a first generation form of dynamic ad creative on behalf of 20th Century Fox Television. Running across AOL and Yahoo this innovative digital ad unit was a huge success reaching millions of users and garnering over 1% CTRs.⠗ 2006: As an Adify adviser, helped conceive and develop the digital media buying platform business for agencies and advertisers called the Private Label Ad Network ("PLAN"), similar to today's Demand Side Platforms ("DSP").
