Blend Labs Inc. (NYSE: BLND) acquired Dwellowner Inc. in month five of operations through an asset sale in November 2019. Eric Eckardt was the Founder & CEO of Dwellowner.

Purplebricks (LSE: PURP), with offices in five major real estate markets including the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Canada and the United States. Lead the growth and expansion side-by-side with the founders while successfully scaling US operations and raising over $130M in growth capital while exceeding $1.6B market capitalization. US assets included national brokerage, title, and escrow closing services. Exited to pursue new opportunities with autonomy to build an efficient and proven model.

Lead the launch of a real estate shared equity online capital market system, connecting homeowners and investors. Empowered homeowners by preserving homeownership and reducing housing debt while providing investors with shared equity investment opportunities in performing owner-occupied residential real estate through our pilot program. Also, launched dwellowner, a full service hybrid real estate brokerage in the 3Q2016. Exited both businesses to join Purplebricks Group plc (LSE: PURP).

Responsible for market penetration, growth and profitability for our online real estate assets, including Owners.com and Hubzu.com, an online marketplace that has sold over 120,000 residential homes since inception. Both platforms are part of the Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A. (NASDAQ: ASPS) family of businesses. Lead cross functional teams in the U.S., Europe and Asia that spans across product, development, marketing, operations, sales and corporate development. Followed Lean project methodology in developing and launching new businesses while serving on the executive team to define our vision and strategy. Optimized Hubzu’s core business driving topline growth 4X and pre-tax income 8X while leading third party growth initiatives.Primary company spokesman on online real estate trends, market conditions, and growth strategy.

Launched several startup companies, with a primary focus on strategic business planning, organizational development, and executing organic and acquisition growth strategies. Companies founded included retail eCommerce business, private mortgage company, online disruptive real estate brokerage firm (Inman News Most Innovative Real Estate Start-up Finalist), crowd-funding platform recognized by Bloomberg Businessweek, and an advisory financial intermediary working with companies to raise capital. Facilitated two successful exits, selling real estate and mortgage company.I ultimately withdrew a direct public offering with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) to join Hubzu.com

Member of the Syndicated Finance team which raised floating rate capital for Fortune 500 and middle market companies to finance acquisitions and leveraged buyouts, fund capital expansion projects, and to supply working capital for corporate issuers across a number of industries.

Worked in Leveraged Finance managing deal teams on the buy-side which consisted of managing, identifying, and obtaining internal approval for private equity sponsored transactions to participate in the senior debt component of the financing for leverage buyouts, acquisitions, and recapitalizations.

Modeled, pitched, structured and executed, as part of a deal team, transactions in corporate finance and capital markets. Also completed a three month intensive, graduate level training program with modules in accounting, corporate finance, market dynamics, credit and risk analysis, and financial projection modeling.
