The Greenhouse Lighting and Systems Engineering (GLASE) consortium was created between Cornell University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to develop, transfer, and implement energy efficient technologies to reduce the carbon footprint of crop production in greenhouses and indoor farms. GLASE engages greenhouse cultivators to commercialize leading edge technologies from industry and academia.

Summalux developed the first circadian lighting control platform for general illumination of commercial, hospitality, and residential interiors using LED technology. The technology improves health and wellness by regulating the human circadian biological rhythm using adaptive lighting paired with intelligent controls.Obtained the first patents for adaptive interior lighting controls to regulate the circadian rhythm in humans, now a 10+ issued US and international patent portfolio owned by Delos.

Acquired by BASF. Conducted polymer formulation and synthesis, participated in new product development and product revolution process. Interfaced with senior developers and assisted in designing starting point formulations of polyurethane and polyamide specialty products. Led re-formulation effort to replace conventional non-renewable raw materials with renewable fatty acid monomers in a major polyamide adhesive product.
