The holder of a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, I explore the uses of photography, writing, digital graphics and acrylic collage/painting to create new mixed media art. I currently exhibit my prints and mixed media art extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area. Most of my art and writing references the vernacular architecture and landscapes that adjoin America's "Blue Highways" - numbered routes that constituted the main roads across the country in the 1930s & 1940s, before the Interstate system was built.After thirty-five years in interior design, the last twenty as the founder and president of EDG Interior Architecture + Design, a noted restaurant design firm, I began a new career as a fine artist (mixed media), and writer on design, art, and culture.Recent Solo Exhibitions:2013:
