CurrentDirectly responsible for sales of independent market research to corporate accounts in New York City and throughout North America. Clients include a diverse group, including: CitiGroup, Bank of America, JPMorganChase, ABN AMRO, CSFB, Wells Fargo, The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), US State Department and The US Treasury. Consistently analyze customers’ needs, identifying appropriate product placement and new business opportunities.Present features and benefits of products specific to customer needs in order to secure sales & expand business.Increase market exposure by introducing the firm’s in-depth market analysis to traders, salespeople, and market economists within the International Banking Community.Negotiate and coordinate all contracts as they relate to both new and residual business. Work closely with market data personnel to help displace competitive vendors capturing market share & share of walletAssist in moving and previsioning of the trading floors.Work with Reuters and Bloomberg to train one-on-one with new and existing desks.Accomplishments:Increased Wells Fargo’s spend 180% through department leader presentations and personal training Grew the CitiGroup account on the Foreign Exchange (FX) desk from 27 to 64 users, with consistent month over month increases over a 15-month time period.More than doubled the billing on the FX desks at Bank of America. In addition, increased revenues in the Fixed Income area from $6,600/annum to over $36,000/annum through collaboration with executives and the individual end users. Increased billings from $18,000 to $96,000/annum at CSFB by working with the head of the Fixed Income desks; eliminated competitor spending and solidified our firm’s position as the primary source of research in the category.
