I am an authentic and energetic leader with an exceptional level of integrity and an entrepreneurial mindset. I’m a dedicated athlete and swim in the open ocean, without a wetsuit, every morning. I bring the same level of composure, courage and discipline it takes to swim in the cold with great white sharks to everything I do.I have significant product management experience and have solved business problems across a diverse array of industries and technologies. I have a knack for understanding customer needs and translating them into technical requirements ready for engineers. I’m a cloud and agile expert who has led major transformations at multiple organizations. My product management career was launched at GEICO where I held a senior position and was responsible for the processes of the claims call center. While there, I created the Digital Claims platform that eliminated 30% of calls.Further on in my career, I joined Solera where I owned their global mobile platform. My team partnered with Pivotal Labs (now under VMWare) where I learned cloud architecture and went on to help invent the first mobile application that could read damage to a vehicle and automatically create a repair estimate without human involvement.Eventually I moved on to Teradata, where I got my first exposure to hardware and understanding data flows and architecture. From there I launched my own mobile application called NiteVybe and have created CRTFD QTTR, the gamified approach to quitting bad habits. Outside of work, I am an ambassador for the iSwim4 organization and recently completed their 2023 Catalina Channel Relay for Social Responsibility. I was a part of a six-person team who swam the channel at night to raise funds and awareness for those looking to access recoveryI am also active in my community and am an elected Board of Trustees Member of La Jolla Town Council. I volunteer with many other organizations such as the Challenged Athlete Federation, La Jolla Christmas Parade, I Love a Clean San Diego and AmpVets.Above all else, I am an outspoken advocate for mental and physical health. I have seen firsthand the profound impacts a person’s health has on overall quality of life. Having made radical changes to my own mental and physical health, I am now committed to using my platform to inspire others to make positive changes in their lives.
