I develop innovative designs for sustainable infrastructure systems. At Hyphae, we have designed and permitted the first graywater for irrigation and rainwater harvesting for indoor reuse systems in multiple jurisdictions in California. I have developed designs for the following: • Integrated water supply systems including rainwater, graywater irrigation for residential clients.• Integrated water treatment systems for stormwater management and biofiltration systems.• Sustainable masterplan designs for community housing developments.• Innovative public toilet and urinal designs which involve irrigation with wastewater.• Indoor and outdoor living walls including irrigation supply and control systems.For permit plan sets, I sketch designs and write specifications, research materials, develop cost estimates, review drawings and do QA/QC. -Rainwater and greywater system design, installation and maintenance-Water system consultation and service with Solstice Grove Institute, Nicasio, CA.-Greywater workshops with Greywater Guerrillas, Bay Area, CA-Habitat restoration and design and construction of wetlands and earthwork projects in India in 2008-Taught and assisted with several permaculture and sustainable water infrastructure courses in the US and abroad.- Promotion and organization of rainwater catchment activities in the Bay Area with Northern California American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA) group.
