Using the Mirth healthcare interface engine. I develop and support HL7 and edi/x12 data interfaces for hundreds of healthcare systems across the US. I work closely with several implementation teams and hospital systems to establish connectivity to our interface and trouble shoot issues with HL7 and x12 data. I use server side Javascript (Rhino) to code the interfaces and code templates. Heavily involves MS SQL. Write stored procedures and create tables/databases to further parse/transform the HL7/x12 data. This data is used for Passport's OrderSmart and ScheduleSmart applications.

Was an application systems analyst for Community Health Systems on the McKesson Horizon Clinical Infrastructure (HCI)/ McKesson Horizon Radiology Manager (HRM)/HL7 Interface engine (Cloverleaf and Mirth) L2 team performing break/fix and changes support for HCI (Horizon Clinical Interface) and HRM (Horizon Radiology Manager) and first line of support for both the Mirth and Cloverleaf HL7 Interface engines. Work primarily in Linux and Oracle SQL databases. Support the HRM servers (application/database/iclient/iservers) on Windows Server 2003/2008. Make sure that data is flowing throughout 100+ hospitals across the US. Use IBM i (AS/400) client to connect to HMS (now MEDHOST). Use HMS to confirm data in HCI (Horizon Clinical Interface) and to check and reset connections in the console for many hospitals. I have started training for HMS Clinview and HMS Clinical to perform Level 2 support.

I ran the physical IT inventory for all of AIM Healthcare. I am the only "night" tech for AIM and support around 1600 people by myself for about half my day. I work phones (take calls and try to fix them as tiers do not really exist at AIM), I also support people through our ticketing system. I also image/encrypt most every system that comes through AIM healthcare. I try and repair non working computers and deal with all warranty work for broken laptops in warranty.
