Contract value 1,2 Billion USD. Leading the expansion of the department with equipment and personnel to accommodate the acceleration of the works and introducing current techniques and methods that are required to construct offshore artificial islands.Expansion includes: 1. >15 million dollar investment scheme for survey equipment and machine control systems. 2. Recruitment drive of more then 55 new survey department employees. 3. Mapping out the department objectives and goals.Apart from leading the Survey Department, I have an active role in the overall discussion on progress of construction, where my recent years of oilfield experience combined with my maritime construction knowledge benefits all aspects of the project such as: gravity based concrete quay walls, armour rock installation and sand dredging planning, installation of concrete modules such as Accropode and X-Blocks and pipeline diversions.
